Evoke Vault vs Evoke Inheritance: Which Do I Need?
Evoke offers two core products: Evoke Vault (multisig Bitcoin custody) and Evoke Inheritance (inheritance planning for any Bitcoin setup). Here's how to decide which one — or both — is right for you.
Choose Evoke Vault if...
- You want to upgrade your Bitcoin security with multisig custody
- You're currently using a single hardware wallet and worried about single points of failure
- You want Evoke to hold a recovery key for worst-case scenarios
- You're willing to move your Bitcoin into a new vault
The vault also includes inheritance planning features as standard — so if you choose Vault, you get Inheritance included.
Choose Evoke Inheritance if...
- You're happy with your current wallet setup and don't want to move your Bitcoin
- You want to ensure your family can access your Bitcoin if something happens to you
- You hold Bitcoin across multiple wallets (hardware, software, exchange)
- You need a solicitor-ready Digital Asset Schedule
Inheritance works with any Bitcoin wallet — you don't need to use Evoke Vault at all. We document and protect your existing setup.
Choose both if...
- You want the most comprehensive protection: multisig security plus detailed inheritance documentation
- You're setting up a new Bitcoin strategy from scratch
- You hold significant Bitcoin and want full protection
Note: The Personal plan includes both Vault and Inheritance at £254/year. There's no separate pricing for just one or the other.
Quick decision guide
- Have Bitcoin on an exchange? Start with Vault to get it off the exchange into self-custody.
- Have a hardware wallet but no inheritance plan? Inheritance is the minimum viable step.
- Have multiple wallets and no plan? Inheritance is essential; add Vault if you want to consolidate.
- Starting from scratch? Get both — they work together seamlessly.
